Scott came to Granite Ridge Builders in September of 2011 with a background in teaching and coaching. He has a passion to teach/coach his clients through the credit game to help them with home ownership. Scott graduated from Taylor University with a Bachelor of Science in Education. He has lived in both Goshen and New Paris (Fairfield Community School district) since 1993. Scott enjoyed coaching Junior High football and umpiring High School and College baseball for 25 years. He had the honor of working his first High School baseball State Finals in 2011 and then was voted as the Crew Chief of the 4A IHSAA State Finals in 2012. Scott put his umpiring endeavors on hold while he and his wife have enjoyed cheering on their two daughters through their high school softball and basketball careers. He has a son that served as a distinguished Indiana FFA Officer and now attends Purdue University.
